P.A. TESTING or portable appliance testing is the in-service testing of portable appliances. It is a safety test of electrical equipment, it applies to all work place appliances, and includes kitchen equipment, computers, hand tools, power leads vacume cleaners etc.

Responsibility:
There is a responsibility on all employers to maintain a safe working environment for their employees. They must ensure their equipment will pose no risk to any persons.

How it works:
Our testing equipment will carry out various tests on selected appliences, including insulation resistance. After being tested appliances will be tagged pass or fail depending on the safety condition of it, and will be given a bar code.

SAFETY
The safety health and welfare act 2007 states, that all appliances at work are to be periodically tested. Insurance underwriters are now looking for safety certs for portable appliances.
